Bloodletter Magazine

featuring poets TBD, hosted by Ariel McCleese.

Bloodletter is a feminist horror magazine showcasing personal and analytical perspectives on the horrific by women, trans, and non-binary writers. At Bloodletter, the definition of horror is expansive, cooperative, and inclusive. We offer an exploratory space for writers to share their lived experiences of horror and the theoretical implications of the genre through poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and film criticism. A featured artist is selected to illustrate each issue of the biannual magazine, resulting in an unconventional and truly unique multidisciplinary digital platform. Bloodletter is proud to publish many NYC-based poets, and we are thrilled to offer these wonderful female, trans, and non-binary writers the exciting opportunity to participate in the 2024 New York City Poetry Festival.
