WordShed NYC Reading Series was founded over two years ago by writer and poet Leah Elimeliah. An all inclusive interdisciplinary community culturally and creatively integrated combining art forms and interlocking ideas, WordShedNYC invites artists and writers to form new ways of supporting each other creatively. WordShedNYC is a collective where ideas exchanged are driven by unique and diverse stories and experiences that push writers and artists forward. It's a collective humbled by inclusivity. Its purpose is to creatively evolve. WordShed houses and supports emerging artists in New York City and beyond.
