Brownstone Poets

featuring poets Elizabeth Morse, Kim D. Brandon, RescuePoetix, Jordan E. Franklin, and hosted by Patricia Carragon.

Since 2005, Brownstone Poets has been serving Brooklyn with poetry from Brooklyn and outside the New York area. Edgy or metrical, free verse, or haiku, Brownstone Poets welcomes a wide range of inspiration. Patricia Carragon is the curator and editor-in-chief of the Brownstone Poets Anthology. Her associate editors are Karen Neuberg, Carrie Radna, and Megha Sood. Su Polo formats Bob Heman's beautiful collage cover. Roxanne Hoffman is the Zoom Meister for the events. The annual anthologies consist of poetry from featured readers and from poets who attend the readings at least 3 times during a specific year. The anthologies have a poet-in-residence and guest poet. Photography from the poetry community upon invitation. You can purchase this anthology at Amazon. com. The reading series is now on Zoom, attracting a national and international crowd. The reading series is on the last Saturday of the month unless it conflicts with a holiday. Hence, whenever there is a holiday conflict, the reading will be held on the third Saturday instead. Brownstone Poets will no longer have readings in December and will have limited readings during the summer.
